You're finally here! After arriving at San José International Airport, your private transfer will whisk you away to a nearby boutique property nestled among seven acres of lush tropical gardens.
This is the perfect place to ease into vacation mode – with game areas to enjoy with new friends and beautiful walking trails where you might spot your first tropical birds and butterflies. Let the kids burn off some airplane energy swimming while you unwind from your journey.
As evening falls, gather with your fellow single-parent families for a welcome dinner at the on-site restaurant and celebrate the beginning of an epic journey.
If you choose a flight arriving in the evening instead, no worries! We'll have a special meal delivered to your room so you can rest and recharge for the adventures ahead.

Day 1
are you coming?
After a classic Tico breakfast, we'll begin our journey to Manuel Antonio on the stunning Pacific Coast! But this isn't just any road trip – we've got a special stop planned that your kids won’t be able to stop talking about.
En route, we’ll learn the art of traditional tortilla making with local matriarch Doña Luz in her actual home! After enjoying a delicious lunch prepared by our host with love and authentic Costa Rican flavors, we'll cool off with a refreshing dip in a secluded waterfall.
Then comes the sweetest part of the day – a hands-on chocolate workshop in the middle of the rainforest! Learn how chocolate goes from bean to bar and watch your kids smile from ear to ear as they create their own treats to enjoy.
In the late afternoon, we'll arrive at our oceanview resort where you can relax at the swim-up bar while the kids splash in the pool with its exciting waterslide and the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean.

Day 2
Hope you're ready for some serious natural beauty today because we're headed to the breathtaking Nauyaca Waterfalls for an unforgettable adventure!
As we arrive via a jungle tractor ride that will have your kids feeling like true explorers, prepare to be amazed. This is one of Costa Rica's most spectacular waterfalls, with the upper falls plunging 140 feet and the lower falls creating perfect natural swimming pools.
Have a swim, brave the jump from the rocks (with expert assistance, of course), or simply marvel at Mother Nature's handiwork. A photographer will be with us throughout the day, capturing all those "my kid is braver than I thought!" moments while you focus on making memories.
We'll refuel with a delicious lunch before heading back to our resort in the afternoon, where you can relax and share stories of your waterfall adventures.

Day 3
Grab your sunscreen – today we're hitting the beach for a day of sun, sand, and surf!
You can relax under beach umbrellas on comfortable loungers while the kids participate in surf camp, complete with lessons, beach games, and even a friendly soccer match. The expert instructors will have them riding waves in no time as they quickly become new Tico friends!
Feel like joining the fun? Parents are welcome to take surf lessons too, or simply enjoy these rare moments of peace as a single parent gazing at the blue Pacific, fresh coconut in hand.
Enjoy lunch with your toes in the sand before returning to the resort at your leisure, perhaps catching a family movie at the on-site cinema or exploring the butterfly garden.
Surf’s up with a side of beach day bliss
Day 4
After breakfast, we’re headed for the treetops! Today's adventure takes us high into the rainforest canopy for an exhilarating day of ziplining, rappelling, and the famous "Monkey Drop."
Soar through the treetops, feel the rush of rappelling down a waterfall, and challenge yourself with exciting aerial elements – all with expert guides ensuring your safety and assisting your kids every step of the way. Both you AND your kids will be bursting with confidence after conquering these challenges!
For those seeking a little less adrenaline, you’ll have the option to ‘choose your own adventure’ with an alternative ziplining course that still delivers breathtaking views and memorable thrills.
Refuel with a traditional Costa Rican lunch before returning to the resort for some much-earned pool time.

Day 5
We've saved something truly special for our last full day together! Board the magnificent Brisa Elegante, a 100-foot wooden Turkish gullet, for a private yacht experience along Costa Rica's stunning coastline.
Imagine cruising the Pacific waters, enjoying the coastal views, watching for dolphins, walking the plank like pirates, and making one last day of memories with your new travel family.
Swim and snorkel in a secluded cove, try paddleboarding or kayaking, or simply relax on deck soaking up the tropical breezes.
A delicious lunch prepared fresh onboard completes this perfect day before we return to shore for some downtime.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner to celebrate our week of adventures together and the new friendships we’ve formed.

Day 6
All good things must come to an end, but what an adventure it's been!
Enjoy one last breakfast at the resort, perhaps catching final glimpses of monkeys playing in the trees around the property.
Board your private transfer for the journey back to San José International Airport, carrying memories of jungle and ocean adventures, strengthened bonds, and new friendships to last a lifetime.

Where You'll Be Staying
We're single parents too, so we understand you might need a few days for things like coordinating with your co-parent.
If you cancel within 7 days of your purchase, you will receive a 100% refund.
After the 7 days, there will be NO refunds for cancellations by you, even for illness. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise or the trip minimum is not met and the company needs to cancel the trip, we will refund you in full. Additionally, we will not provide any refunds 45 days or less prior to the departure of this trip, if you register within that time frame.
For trips further out than 90 days, we allow one trip transfer/conversion to travel credit to be used within one year. Transfers/travel credit conversions requested within 90 days of departure are not permitted and any changes will be considered a cancellation subject to the terms above.
